Job Description
The Gold One Group is searching for a Legal Advisor to be a part of our dynamic team. This function will be primarily based in Springs and Roodepoort, reporting to the Head of Legal.
LEGAL ADVISOR X1 (GRADING C5)
Qualifying Criteria:
Qualified lawyer or recommend with a minimal of two years post-admission experience
Broad working expertise of rules governing the mining industry
Knowledge of Environmental regulation and Mine, Health & Safety law
Experience in labour law, inclusive of disciplinary hearings, CCMA, and Labour Court
Experience in business law
Computer literate
Valid driver’s license
Good interpersonal and verbal exchange skills
South African Citizenship
Clear Criminal Record

Excellent verbal exchange skills, each written and verbal.
Excellent negotiating and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work below strain and organise workload to meet deadlines.
Ability to work nicely independently and inside a multidisciplinary team.
Good analytical and prison drafting skills.
Be capable to produce correct and expert reports.
Taking initiative and exhibiting sound sensible judgment.
Responsibilities:
Support the Head of Legal in making sure consistency and fine of method and shipping of a value-adding, proactive felony carrier with an emphasis on Labour, Mining, Environmental, and Commercial law.
Assist in presenting felony offerings and recommendation in written and verbal shape throughout the Gold One Group.
Represent the business enterprise at the CCMA.
Liaise with exterior tips on all litigation matters.
Manage the contract, litigation, and regulatory databases throughout the Gold One Group.
Inform the Gold One Group of any regulatory modifications and make certain compliance with applicable legislation.
Provide typical recommendation on a vast vary of matters throughout the Gold One Group.
Assist in the drafting and reviewing of a variety of agreements to be concluded on behalf of the Group.
Engage and manipulate interior and external stakeholder relations.
Conduct all work in accordance to required requirements and specifications
