REQUIREMENTS : Matric certificates and an LLB diploma or 4 (4) years’ identified prison qualification as identified by using SAQA. A minimal of two (2) years’ applicable criminal experience. A minimal of three (3) years’ prison lookup journey and done articles will be an advantage. Knowledge of Electronic Information Resource and on-line retrieval (Westlaw, LexisNexis, Jutastat). Skills and Competencies: Excellent lookup skills. Report writing and modifying skills. Excellent conversation competencies (written and verbal). Problem analysis, fixing and planning skills. Decision making skills. Time administration skills. Creative and analytical skills.

DUTIES : Perform all criminal responsibilities for the judges to allow them to prepare- judgements. Research and retrieve all fabric from all sources in each difficult reproduction and digital codecs on criminal issues, as requested through a Judge. Read all the applicable cloth and evaluation it thoroughly. Discuss all feasible versions on a prison factor with colleagues and/ or the judge’s attention. Prepare a complete memorandum on the result of the research. Proof examine all judgement, articles, speeches and convention papers with appreciate to spelling and grammar. Double-check all references and footnotes in all judgements and criminal articles in opposition to the authentic textual content to make sure correctness. Correct errors with the assist of song adjustments so that judges can receive or decline any proposed changes. Drafting of speeches, felony articles and convention papers digital codecs on felony issues, as requested by way of a Judge. Read all the applicable substances and evaluation it thoroughly. Prepare and draft speech, convention paper or article. Make all modifications and addition if they require some. Prepare a PowerPoint the place applicable. Submit the speeches.
