REQUIREMENTS : An undergraduate qualification (NQF degree 06) as diagnosed by means of South African Qualifications Authority (SAQA) in Civil Engineering or Construction Management.06 years’ Experience in street maintenance/ Construction Environment. Valid driver’s licence, with the exception of candidates with disabilities. Competencies: People Management and Empowerment. Programme and Project Management. Change Management, Knowledge Management. Service Delivery Innovation. Problem fixing and Analysis, Client Orientation and Customer focus, Communication.

DUTIES : Monitor the upkeep and restore of avenue surfaces on all surfaced roads such as resurfacing interval, culvert/bridge replacement, line painting, substitute of signs, grade and resurface gravel on unfastened pinnacle roads. Develop maintenance schedules for belongings (roads, plant, equipment, etc. Plan and put together a weekly/ month-to-month web page programme. Manage shriveled services, venture administration and remaining inspection for capital projects. Provide technical recommendation on claims in opposition to the department. Monitor and test the first-class of work accomplished through contractor’s/ preservation teams. Manage and advance staff.
