REQUIREMENTS : National Diploma /degree in Forestry or applicable equal inside associated subject 2-3 years applicable trip in Forestry or associated field. Knowledge of National Forestry Acts, National Veld and Forest Fire Act, Public Service Act, Public Service Regulations, and different associated environmental legislation. Must have the following skills: pc literacy, numeracy skills, minute writing, planning, and organising, trouble fixing skills, top notch verbal exchange capabilities (verbal, presentation and file writing). DUTIES : The incumbent will be accountable for the implementation of the National Forest Act (NFA). Administration of licenses for herbal forests and blanketed trees. Monitor compliance. Implement administrative enforcement measures. Implement things to do to make certain concurrence management. Evaluation of Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA). The incumbent will additionally be accountable for imposing the National Veld and Forest Fires Act (NVFFA). Conduct FPA assessments for registered FPAs. Promotion of the well-being of the FPA’s, implementation of intergraded veld fireplace administration plan, implementation of NVFIS Facilitate participation municipalities and that of nation land custodians. Facilitate submission of annual reviews to the National Office through Provincial office. Assess firebreak exemption applications. Organise and coordinate stakeholder participation. Implement enterprise diagram for awareness campaign. Render customary administration.
