Job Purpose

Grade 12/Matric
Tertiary qualification advantageous.
Experience:

Key Responsibilities
Key duties of this role:
Forwarding and clearing of import cargo in accordance with Client requirements.
Receive directions / buy order from Client.
Register buy oder / indent on Cargowise Order Manager.
Track Client consignments from time of receipt or transport training to arrival at vacation spot in accordance with Incoterm.
Liaise with Emo and record on readiness repute of export shipments to applicable stakeholders.
Track documentation glide from time of cargo to time of receipt in BIL and Emo Offices.
once pre alert is received, create clearing file on CW and update.
Follow up with transport line for arrival notification; direct and transshipment.
On receipt of ANF, replace file (including invoicing amount).
Clearing of Import cargo in accordance with Client necessities and SARS rules ensiring that provider closing dates are met for launch of containers.
Expedite cargo with carriers, terminals, depots and different transport operators.
Keep gadget up to date with all verbal exchange and relevant documentation obtained (E Docs).
Generate proforma bill in accordance with Client fee shape and transaction disbursements making sure correct billing.
Ensure that all milestones are up to date timeously for correct reporting and statistics integrity.
Ensure that all disbursements are recorded and recovered.
Ensure proforma bill is nice controlled, then generate Tax invoice.
Process and distribute documentation in accordance with Client necessities (Client report packs to be despatched timeously (within KPI) to keep away from late payments.
Update POD milestone and empty flip in mile stones to shut files.
Carry out acquittal methods if required.
Initiate claims in admire of lost, broken or discrepant cargo.
Handle queries from Clients, stakeholders and departments.
Skills & Competencies
Knowledge:
Supply Chain knowledge; advantageous.
Strong established working expertise of International Forwarding.
Working know-how of Export and Import; Air and Ocean processes.
Good working information of Incoterms.
Good information of freight charges and associated charges.
Understanding of estimates.
Knowledge of customs requirements.
Financial know-how involving file profitability and losses.
Skills:
Well – developed verbal exchange and negotiation abilities essential.
Well – developed pc literacy competencies (MS Office).
CargoWise1 (CW) professional an advantage.
