Purpose of the Job
To maximise sustainable liquor store income by:

  • Supporting, monitoring, co-ordinating the high-quality administration of the liquor store staff
  • Assuring dependable inventory availability
  • Minimising shrinkage and wastage
  • Meeting and exceeding purchaser expectations

Matric – essential

Other – Valid driver’s license

Sales administration
Retail profitability
Knowledge of the features that help income and service

Retail product / range knowledge
Liquor product understanding (e.g. sorts of beer, wine, brandies, whisky, etc.)
Safety requirements in the Liquor Store and the self-discipline to put into effect these standards
Knowledge of the National Liquor Act of 2003
Customer carrier principles
Knowledge of simple concepts of shelf packing and inventory management

Sales administration / supervisory trip in retail environment
