About the Role
We are in search of a diligent Security Officer on a 3-month contract to make sure the protection and safety of our premises and personnel. You will be accountable for monitoring activities, controlling access, and responding to emergencies, all whilst keeping a seen and reassuring presence.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and patrol exact areas to deter and discover safety violations.
- Control get admission to to premises via screening site visitors and issuing identification badges.
- Respond at once to alarms and incidents, conducting investigations and reporting findings.
- Maintain distinct information of every day things to do and any uncommon occurrences.
- Collaborate with regulation enforcement companies as essential in the course of incidents.
- Ensure adherence to protection protocols and emergency procedures.
- Provide assistance and data to personnel and traffic as needed.
- Conduct ordinary inspections of safety gear and record any troubles for repair.
Requirements
- Valid Grade C Psira certificates
- Proven tune report in a security-related position or comparable capacity.
- Strong observational competencies and the potential to reply successfully in disaster situations.
- Excellent verbal exchange skills, each verbal and written, to deliver data clearly.
- Familiarity with protection structures and surveillance equipment.
- Ability to work bendy hours, which includes nights and weekends as required.
Preferred Qualifications
- Certification in safety or associated fields (e.g., PSIRA registration).
- Experience in war decision and de-escalation techniques.
- First resource and CPR certification.
- Knowledge of emergency response and security protocols.
