REQUIREMENTS : Minimum academic qualification: An splendid three-year National Diploma or Degree. Experience: Appropriate administration journey and relevant guides and in-service education in chance and safety management. Inherent necessities of the job: Valid (Code B/EB) driver’s licence. Willingness to work prolonged hours and to travel. Competencies (knowledge/skills): In depth expertise of administration and administrative approaches in the Public Service. Must have sturdy management characteristics and the capacity to inspire personnel. Understanding of the strategic course and desires of the Department and how to intertwine safety wants with the dreams and objectives. Knowledge of relevant policies, legislation, public regulations, and procedures. Excellent file writing, research, training, presentation, verbal exchange and counterintelligence skills. Systematic strategy to work. High degree of interpersonal, administrative, and monetary administration skills. Creativity, lateral thinking, and capability to enforce revolutionary options and clear up complicated problems. Computer literate and trained in MS Office.

DUTIES : To render recommendation in admire of protection matters. Liaise with stakeholders particularly SAPS, State Security Agency, PSIRA, City of Cape Town Law Enforcement and the Department of Police Oversight and Community Safety on departmental protection and safety hazard administration matters. Ensure compliance and enforcement w.r.t security and safety rules & prescripts. To reveal the implementation and development made with protection structures in the department. Coordinate and facilitate vetting, investigations, reporting of incidents, safety breaches, compliance auditing (M&E), education and cognizance programs. Facilitate protection value determinations and implementation of recommendations. Facilitate contract administration of outsourced safety provider providers. Ensure the administration of the security and protection hazard administration approaches and methodologies and furnish comments to Management. Implement protection insurance policies and procedures.
