DRIVER (HEAVY DUTY VEHICLE)

SALARY : R155 148 per annum
CENTRE : Lentegeur Hospital

REQUIREMENTS : Minimum requirement: Basic literacy and numeracy skills. Inherent requirement of the job: Valid code C1 (Code 10) guide driver’s licence. Valid Public Driving Permit (PDP). Willingness to work overtime, operate standby obligations after hours, such as weekends and public holidays. Competencies (knowledge/skills): Ability to take delivery of accountability, accountability to work independently, desirable interpersonal abilities and sober habits. Knowledge of Transport Regulations and Circular no four of 2000. Knowledge of routine, maintenance, Inspections for defects on automobiles and secure riding skills. Ability to work amongst human beings with disabilities/special intellectual healthcare needs. Appropriate riding skills.

DUTIES : Ensure an environment friendly and fantastic transport carrier for Lentegeur Hospital, which include transport of clients, personnel, items and services. Ensure activities Maintenance, inspecting on motors and well timed reporting of defects. Ensure an positive day by day Transport Administration and guide to Supervisor. Ensure automobiles are saved clean, tidy and roadworthy condition. Ensure correct
collection and transport of bloods and specimens.
