Purpose of the Job
To manipulate the work of body of workers inside the warehouse place of duty in accordance with the Standard Operating Procedures pertaining to the operation(s) in which they work.
Key Responsibilities
Operational
Manage the work and techniques by using team of workers participants inside the area(s) for which you are accountable in accordance with the Standard Operating Procedure pertaining to the operation
Ensure that strategies that structure phase of your place of duty are carried out in accordance to the applicable Standard Operating Procedures
Ensure that all Standard Operating Procedures are known, understood, documented, in place, managed, maintained, and enforced
Ensure that all duties and things to do are carried out correctly and effectively
Ensure that inventory checking is carried out efficaciously to make sure that the condition, quantity, and description of the inventory fit these of the documentation and inventory keeping
Ensure that inventory is dealt with effectively and that the situation of the packaging is maintained
Resolve all troubles raised inside your region of responsibility
Escalate all troubles that can’t be resolved to the Operations Manager
Ensure that inventory is exact managed at all times
Assist in the instruction of as properly as the manner of performing inventory takes and/or cycle counts
Ensure all strategies float easily all through the operation

Staff

Quality, Health & Safety & KPIs
Ensure that purchaser KPIs are known, understood, measured, managed, maintained, and pronounced on a month-to-month basis
Ensure non-stop enchancment receives center of attention and is implemented
Ensure pro-active moves are taken inside the operation
Ensure NCRs, NCPs, and IOs are raised daily
Ensure that all NCRs, NCPs, and IOs are closed off inside the required lead time (5 working days)
Ensure that QMS pursuits and goals are managed and maintained
Ensure requirements of Health and Safety are maintained and that the necessities of the Occupational Health and Safety Act
Ensure that all month-to-month exams are carried out as required
Maintain housekeeping requirements on a day by day basis
MHE & Asset Management
Ensure that the facility, stock, and belongings are thoroughly secured and that all Loss Control insurance policies and tactics are implemented
Ensure that belongings are properly maintained, accounted for, and mentioned on as required
Ensure all MHE necessities in phrases of licenses, services, load tests, inspections, and education are managed and maintained in accordance to regulatory and Value requirements
Ensure that all belongings and MHE are optimally utilised
Finances
Ensure that expenses are saved to a minimal and that all prices are accounted for and managed
Ensure that procurement processes are accompanied in full
Ensure that all data and reviews concerning to billing are managed, maintained, and saved on file
Ensure P&L are managed, controlled, and can be presented
Minimum Requirements
Grade 12 (Matric)
Degree/diploma in furnish chain/warehousing subject beneficial
5 years of applicable administration ride inside the warehousing environment.
