LOCATION: CAPE TOWN , SOUTH AFRICA
PURPOSE OF THE POSITION: Develop enticing textile, graphic, and sample designs for product levels and campaigns. Support Buyers through growing clear, desirable visuals for in-store, digital, and advertising channels to join clients with merchandise and power sales.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Designing – Graphic and Surface Design
Design graphics, all-over prints, placement prints and embroideries the use of Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop, aligned to PEP Africa’s brand, client and seasonal trends
Prepare and organise last art work documents for dealer handover, making sure right formats, shade references, and technical requirements
Re-draw, adapt, edit and re-colour present designs to swimsuit extraordinary products, fabrics, sizes and rate points
Develop a couple of plan picks per quick to help vary planning, rate structure and assortment decisions
Stay up to date with fashion, photograph and floor sketch traits applicable to price retail and the PEP Africa customer
Administration, Systems & Design Governance
Ensure compliance with inside processes, CI tips and diagram standards
Ensure all art work archives are successfully formatted and saved for handover to suppliers and future reference
Manage and replace layout libraries on Google Drive (print libraries, floor graph assets, and reference folders)
Keep the short tracker sheet up to date to make sure visibility of priorities, growth and deadlines
Stakeholder Engagement & Communication
Communicate to the crew to recognize briefs, product strategies, timelines and business objectives
Contribute innovative enter in the course of planning and product discussions to guide income and promotions
Communicate plan intent and updates simply to make certain alignment and clean execution
Build robust relationships with interior groups and suppliers to environment friendly format shipping
JOB INCUMBENT REQUIREMENTS
Diploma in Textile, surface, Graphic design
2 + years’ sketch experience, ideally in a retail surroundings
Retail enterprise journey is advantageous
Computer literacy: Advanced capabilities in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, Google Suite
Rangebuild knowledge
Great eye for graph and detail
Good planning / organising and capability to cope with stress and deadlines
SA citizen
