Job Advert Summary
The normal duty of the profitable candidate will be to function primary Laboratory analyses
and pattern guidance for the Inorganic Laboratory inside the Chemistry Section
Minimum Requirements
- Minimum: NQF four with Maths and Science
- Two years of working trip ideally in an analytical laboratory
Primary Duties
- Printing pattern labels and sampling agenda the use of LIMS-Labware
- Collection of samples after being sampled, filter, distribute and dispose accordingly.
- Scanning and receiving of pattern bottles from cooler room, into laboratory.
- Preparation of pattern bottles for sampling things to do on unique Inorganic chemical tests.
- Perform primary checks like DO and MBAS
- Cleaning of laboratory glassware and help with laboratory cleaning.
- Handling of gasoline bottles for one-of-a-kind evaluation and the disposal of hazardous chemical compounds from the laboratory.
- The adherence to SHE practices and appropriate housekeeping concepts in the place of work
Knowledge
- Basic appreciation of ISO 17025.
- Understanding of how to gather water samples for analytical evaluation the use of distinctive sampling devices.
- Understanding of familiar laboratory, best and SHERQ procedures.
- Ability to observe approaches in a hobbies laboratory
Skills
- Basic pc literacy.
- Effective written and verbal verbal exchange skills.
- Ability to prioritise, organise and plan.
- Ability to function the fundamental features on the Information Management System (LIMS)
