Minimum Requirements
Applicants should have:
Grade 12 / Matric
Fire Fighter I qualification
Fire Fighter II with Hazmat Operations or equivalent
SAQCC authorized qualification from:
SASEI
IFE
Clean crook record
Candidate Physical Ability Test (CPAT)
Medical check NFPA 1582
0–1 years applicable experience
Valid Code C1 Driver’s Licence
Candidates should additionally be inclined to:
Work shifts
Work weekends and public holidays

Duties and Responsibilities
Successful candidates will:
Attend furnace and rescue calls
Operate inside emergency response teams
Man manage room operations
Conduct each day vehicle and gear inspections
Attend Haz-Mat calls and exceptional services
Maintain furnace station gear and vehicles
Participate in team inspections and drills
Provide hearth prevention services
Perform responsibilities recommended by way of supervisors
