Minimum Requirements
Applicants should have:

NQF Level four qualification (Grade 12 / ABET / AET Level 3) or equal qualification diagnosed by means of SAQA
Valid SAPS Firearm Competency Certificate (handgun/rifle/shotgun)
Valid driver’s license (except for individuals with disabilities)

Conservation education certificates or qualification from an accepted institution
Required Skills and Knowledge

Candidates need to have:

Knowledge of nature reserve management
Knowledge of nature conservation regulation and policies
Ability to use firearms
Problem-solving and analytical skills
Good verbal exchange skills
Client orientation and consumer focus

Duties and Responsibilities
Successful candidates will be accountable for:

Protecting nature reserves and herbal resources
Conducting conservation patrols and regulation enforcement operations
Fence inspections and repairs
Infrastructure maintenance
Managing traveler behaviour in reserves
Reporting non-compliance incidents
Assisting with fireplace administration services
Monitoring biodiversity, habitats, and ecological processes
Conducting ecological rehabilitation programmes
Assisting with alien plant elimination and bush encroachment programmes
Supporting flora and fauna administration programmes
Assisting with sport monitoring and management
Supporting water provision and conservation administration programmes
