REQUIREMENTS : NQF stage 1 or two (ABET stage two certificates or equivalent) with no experience. Knowledge of Food offerings & meals preparation, Operation of meals processing equipment, Basic fitness & protection measures, Health environment, Hygiene & bacterial infection manage measures. Basic literacy, Ability to function food
processing equipment, Measure accurately.

DUTIES : Render catering services: Follow menus and one of a kind eating regimen plans. Prepare components for ingredients e.g. cleansing and reducing vegetables, put together meat, hen and fish. Process/cook organized elements for consumption. Serve organized meals in the applicable crockery. Ensure that parts served are in accordance to the stipulated dietary allowances. Pack meals shipping trolleys and supply to applicable areas in the fitness institution. Ensure that the right foods are delivered to the right areas in the institution. Maintain protected and hygienic environment: Collect used cutlery and crockery from wards and different carrier areas. Check that the right range of cutlery and crockery have been again to the kitchen. Wash and dry used equipment, cutlery and crockery. Perform satisfactory tests to make sure that the cleansing method has been carried out in accordance to standard. Pack and shop smooth meals processing equipment. Clean the meals processing vicinity at everyday intervals all through the day. Perform everyday tests to set up whether or not protection and sanitation requirements are being adhered to. Report unhygienic and dangerous state of affairs to the supervisor.
