REQUIREMENTS : Minimum academic qualification: Grade 1: Successful completion of the Critical Care Assistant (CCA) programmes that lets in registration with the Health Professions Council of South Africa (HPCSA) as Paramedic. Grade 2: Successful completion of the Critical Care Assistant programme or a Recognized National Diploma that lets in registration with the HPCSA as Paramedic. Grade 3: Successful completion of the Critical Care Assistant (CCA) programme or a Recognized National Diploma that permits registration with the HPCSA as Paramedic or B Tech Degree that approves registration with the HPCSA as Emergency Care Practitioner. Grade 4: Successful completion of the Critical Care Assistant (CCA) programme or a Recognized National Diploma that permits registration with the HPCSA as Paramedic or B Tech Degree that permits registration with the HPCSA as Emergency Care Practitioner.
