Introduction
SPAR North Rand, a division of The SPAR Group Ltd, is recruiting for a Category Controller at its Distribution Centre, placed in Olifantsfontein. PURPOSE: The cause of this job is to furnish administrative guide to the Purchasing Manager and Category Manager consisting of compiling and circulating positive daily, monthly, and annual reports, to aid the class supervisor with primary replenishment shopping for and making sure that all daily administration is maintained and updated
Duties & Responsibilities
Responsibilities
Assistant to the Category Manager
Check merchandise are listed on the AS400 with the right seller pack
List any new merchandise on AS400
Ensure device information integrity (e.g., right pricing and quantities
Monitor out of shares and dog-lines daily
Remove any discontinued inventory gadgets as per the dealer information
Contact Retailers to attempt and promote over stocked products
Capture introduced demand products
Check that suppliers have booked a transport slot with receiving
Follow right methods when returning stock
Follow up on orders positioned with Suppliers
Ensure promotional portions acquired from the promotions branch are correct
Ensure that invoices that are obtained from Suppliers correspond with pricing on the system
Return inventory that is no longer selling
Monitor ranges and inventory age daily
Sell over stocked gadgets and ADHOC SKUs.
Preparation and submission of sure daily, weekly, monthly, and annual Marketing reports
Co-ordinate sure branch meetings- reserving of venues and organise catering
Co-ordination of Marketing conversation to shops and suppliers
Assist at more than a few Marketing associated SPAR occasions e.g., Trade Shows, Golf Days and Public Events and Roadshows
Desired Experience & Qualification
Requirements:
Matric, Maths on Higher Grade (HG)
Marketing Degree/ Diploma or Purchasing Diploma
High degree of numeracy
Administrative orientation (enjoy administrative work)
Accuracy and interest to element is essential
Receiving ride advantageous
