EPWP General Workers
EPWP Employment possibility presently exists for 3X Semi-Skilled Environmental Monitor at Mapungubwe National Park & World Heritage Site. The above-stated role is a fixed-term contract up to the quit of 31 March 2027.
The appointed participant or Environmental Monitor will be paid a wage fee of R 208.00 per day as per Expanded Public Works Programme rates.

Requirements
NQF Level four (Grade 12).
Code eight driver’s license.
Willing to work bendy hours e.g. weekends & after hours.
Proficient in English and on different professional languages with exact written and verbal skills.
Must be in properly bodily health.
Understanding of fundamental ideas of Health & Safety.

Responsibilities
Protected location features – region integrity & flora and fauna security.
Problem Animals monitoring and reporting.
Ecological monitoring, restoration, Invasive Alien Species clearing.
Assist with applicable Conservation things to do when required.
Report immediately to the nearby part ranger.
Assist with the upkeep of park infrastructure, which include fences, water points, roads, and different accepted preservation all through the park.
Assist with herbal useful resource administration and participant in lookup projects.
Assist with subject records series and shooting of information onto a computer.
General administration – consisting of timesheets, logbooks, and reports.
Assist with storeroom cleaning, organisation, and inventory keeping.
Access manipulate things to do i.e. Staff, site visitors management, and security and security.
Assisting with waste administration activities, which include waste collection, disposal, and retaining cleanliness inside the park.
Assisting with the cleansing and renovation of residing quarters to make sure a clean, safe, and liveable environment.
Assisting with all park administration things to do as directed by using Line Managers.
