Key Duties & Responsibilities
Forklift Operation
Operate forklift gear safely and responsibly in certain areas (production floor, warehouse, staging areas).
Conduct day by day forklift tests and file any faults or preservation issues.
Load, unload, and go substances consisting of uncooked materials, packaging, completed products, waste bins, and pallets.
Line Feeding and Material Flow
Ensure non-stop provide of uncooked materials, packaging, and pallets to manufacturing traces to keep away from downtime.
Remove full pallets and switch them to detailed storage or dispatch areas.
Stock Handling and Warehouse Support
Move substances between stores, staging areas, and manufacturing zones as per instructions.
Ensure correct pallet stacking and secure storage practices.
Safety and Compliance
Adhere strictly to SHEQ requirements when working the forklift.
Wear splendid PPE and comply with pace limits and targeted journey paths.
Safely transport hazardous or flammable substances the place required.
Housekeeping and Visual Standards.
Maintain easy and equipped working areas in line with 5S principles.
Remove waste or extra substances from manufacturing strains promptly.
Assist with pallet and bin agency to decrease congestion.
Communication and Team Support
Collaborate with the Production Process Controller and Line Team to assume cloth needs.
Provide well timed comments on cloth availability or motion constraints.
Support loading and offloading throughout shift adjustments or deliveries.

Skills, Experience & Education
Education
Minimum: Grade 12 (Matric) or equivalent
Mandatory: Valid Forklift Operator’s License (Counterbalance/Reach Truck relying on website requirements)
Experience
Minimum two years’ forklift riding ride in a manufacturing or FMCG environment
Exposure to manufacturing and warehouse operations in a high-volume environment
Experience the use of SAP or WMS for fabric transactions (advantageous)
Skills
Safe and particular forklift riding and maneuvering
Ability to interpret and comply with manufacturing schedules and job cards
Understanding of stock flow, staging, and cloth replenishment
Knowledge of SHEQ, GMP, and meals security compliance requirements
Basic mechanical attention to become aware of tools faults
Familiarity with barcoding, scanning, and inventory rotation processes
Ability to work independently and below stress all through excessive manufacturing demand
